The Norman T W Allan (named after former Police Commissioner) was the largest Police vessel in Australia when it was launched in 1974. It was a massive 65 feet long with a beam of 21 feet. It was the flagship of the police fleet. The launch of the Allan was newsworthy.
Auction Notice
In 1991 the Allan was sold at auction. She is now privately owned, has been modified extensively and can still be seen cruising the harbour.
